Madelon de Keizer is a historian specialized in 20th century European history and a senior researcher at the NIOD Institute for War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies (NIOD) in Amsterdam. She published widely in Dutch, German and English and has written a number of books on the history of WWII. Spring 2018 her biography of the famous Dutch literary critic and poet Albert Verwey (1865-1937) will be published by Prometheus/Bert Bakker, with the title Een meeuw op de golven. Albert Verwey en zijn tijd. On this site you can find her curriculum vitae as well as a list of her publications and lectures since 2000.

Madelon de Keizer has also graduated from the Dutch Art School the Wackers Academy and she currently is working as an artist. On this site a presentation of her work is given.
